3rd Grade STAAR Practice Problem Sets 

For each TEK or group of TEKs there are 5 problem sets usually with 6 questions each. (One or two have 7 questions).  The 5 problem sets all cover the same basic material.  The idea is that a student can practice the same material up to 5 times without getting the same question.  Some of the questions are directly copied (with permission) from the STAAR released tests.  Others are questions I made up closely modeled on the STAAR questions.

Some of the problem sets are formatted 6 questions to a page.  Others are 1 question to a page.  For Power Math, I plan to print on cardstock laminate for multiple uses.

Answers are included.  In Power Math the students check their own work.

Printing tips: I print black and white.  For two-sided, I flip on the short side.  In the PDF print menu, I set the scale to "actual size" or 100%. Note: This is especially important for problems where the student has to use a ruler to solve the problem.
